Barney Frank Visit to Holocaust Museum Cancelled

Holocaust Memorial Center Zekelman Family Campus announced that former U.S. Rep. Barney Frank (D-MA) has postponed his Sunday speaking appearance at museum due to a recent fall that has left him unable to travel.   Congressman Frank was to be the keynote speaker at the opening of the Holocaust Memorial Center’s newest exhibit, “Nazi Persecution of Homosexuals, 1933-1945.”  The event will continue as planned at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday and include refreshments for guests.

Tickets purchased for the originally scheduled event will be honored for Sunday as well as the rescheduled date.  Refund requests can be made by contacting Lawrence Willim at 248-553-2400, ext. 24 or lawrence.willim@holocaustcenter.org.  The Holocaust Memorial Center is located at 28123 Orchard Lake Road in Farmington Hills.
