Moving to Michigan…

I felt like a toddler throwing a fit but after repeated warnings in Colorado by different people that Michigan was the state with the highest loss of population and that I should not move there I sort of had a reason. My husband moved here from Colorado for a job about 4 years ago and it took me 2 years staying in Colorado by myself to realize that I needed to move because you cannot maintain a family living in 2 states. So almost 2 years ago in October I moved to Michigan. I started exploring the area and what I found knocked my socks off. I found a vibrant Jewish community with heavily invested institutions.I found a community dedicated to its people and institutions to a degree to which I have not seen before. Now to understand you must know that in the past we have lived in the Cleveland area, in Connecticut, in Massachusetts and finally in Colorado. We have lived in a few places and were able to compare, how could you not. Michigan is by FAR the BEST area we have ever moved into. I thought you might want to know.
