The mix of classic cars and older adults came together Aug. 16 at the 10th Annual Jewish Senior Life (JSL) Senior Dream Cruise at JSL residences in West Bloomfield.
“Cars are a part of the life-blood of most Detroiters and, for the residents, classic cars bring back memories of cruising Woodward, first dates and a time gone-by,” said Fran Victor, JSL chief development officer.
This year, more than 70 cars spanning every decade cruised by as residents, family members and others enjoyed the festivities and party atmosphere.
Featured this year were classic cars, such as a 1929 Ford Model A Phaeton, a 1967 Oldsmobile Cutlass Convertible, a 1985 Rolls Royce Silver Spur, a 1924 Ford Model T and many others.
Held just days before the Woodward Dream Cruise, this event allowed older adults a chance to enjoy the classic cars and reminisce.
The event was sponsored by Sav-On Long Term Care. Learn more about JSL at jslmi.org.
