Trivia Night – Simchat Torah Style

The Well likes to do things a little differently … so it’s bringing a Torah to the pub and playing trivia — Simchat Torah style!

Simchat Torah (the holiday celebrating the completion and beginning anew of the annual Torah reading cycle) is meant to be a LOUD and JOYOUS occasion, and The Well wants to celebrate with Metro Detroit’s young professional crowd this Thursday, Oct. 12, from 7-9 p.m. at Fifth Avenue Royal Oak (215 Fifth Ave.).

Join The Well, friends from Temple Israel and the NEW Royal Oak Moishe House crew for a night of pub trivia, and a chance to get up close and personal with the Torah (“We’re legit going to unroll the entire scroll!” The Well says).

“We’ll make sure you’re well-fed and have access to some great drink specials, along with some great professionally led trivia (with some appropriately Jewy Q’s mixed in) due to the generosity of donors,” according to The Well, who adds that people are free to form their own super teams of up to 8 people beforehand, or join forces with folks that theymeet on the spot.

Let Matt know if you’ll be there at matt@meetyouatthewell.org.
