For The Dogs! – #DJNDogContest

Newsroom
In honor of National Puppy Day, the JN held a contest on Instagram: #DJNDogContest, sponsored by TyVy Pet Hotel.
The first-place dog contest winner got a $36 gift certificate to TyVy Pet Hotel, plus a one-year digital and print subscription to the Jewish News and a fashionable JN water bottle. Second and third place also won prizes.

First place goes to: @rebeldoingthings, who owns Rebel Relle the therapy dog. Rebel works at Beaumont hospital, and he is the smallest on staff. He also works at Village Yoga in Franklin, attending yoga classes to calm the students. Rebel’s proud owner is Lisa Katzman of Bloomfield Hills.

Second place goes to: @sheasheatherescuepup. Shea is a rescue from Make a Difference Rescue. She was a foster dog for about one night until her owner fell in love with her and put in an application for her adoption. She loves to play with tennis balls, go swimming, biking and hiking. She’s a ball full of energy and her owner, Alyssa Ozrovitz of Madison Heights, says she is very lucky to have found her.

Third place goes to: @liviroth. Maude is the sweetest dog you’ll ever meet, says her owner, Olivia Roth of Huntington Woods. There’s nothing she loves more than taking a long nap after a long walk.
Thank you to all the furry friends who took part in the contest and their owners who submitted photos!
