A Veterans Day brunch will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, at Congregation B’nai Moshe in West Bloomfield. Guest speaker is Marlene Copeland Dodinval, executive director of the Jewish National Fund, who will speak about JNF’s project for refurbishing Ammunition Hill, a poignant and moving memorial in Jerusalem for soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice. She will also talk about a unique program to include Israelis with disabilities into the Israel Defense Force (IDF).
The brunch is hosted by B’nai Moshe and also sponsored by Congregation Beth Ahm and Adat Shalom Synagogue.
The brunch is free for veterans and spouses or widow(er)s of the three synagogues.
