Illuminating Water Justice: A Chanukah Gathering in Detroit Dec. 2
From the JN Staff
Detroit Jews for Justice leaders developed a social media campaign to tie the story of Chanukah to the struggle for water justice. Subscribe to receive daily emails throughout Chanukah, with educational content on local water issues and clear actions you can take to advocate for clean and affordable water.
Also, join DJJ for a gathering at the annual Menorah in the D celebration on Sunday, Dec. 2, immediately after the official candle-lighting of the menorah in Campus Martius. DJJ will gather at 6:30 p.m. for song and ritual and to hear from speakers about local struggles for clean and affordable water. After the program, head to to Isaac Agree Downtown Synagogue for refreshments and mingling. For more information, contact Barry Rubin, email@example.com or (248) 701-7414.
