The Fed, a social eatery and bar in downtown Clarkston (that opened in an old bank building), has launched its lower-level concept, Gold Bar, which is now serving an assortment of gourmet hot dogs and sides.

Gold Bar incorporates unique features, as the lower level bar is made from a vintage Airstream Travel Trailer, and the doors to the lower- level vault (known as the speakeasy), were built in such a way that when shut, they seamlessly blend into the wall and look hidden.

The venue also features weekly live music. Daily operations are led by owners Sarah and James Schneider, along with Executive Chef Jakobi Voorheis and General Manager Matthew Wright.

Gold Bar is located in the lower level at 15 S. Main St. in downtown Clarkston. For more information, visit
