Diamond’s Steak & Seafood, an Adam Merkel Restaurant known for its filet mignon tip skewers, opened a second location in downtown Royal Oak on the first floor of 100 S. Main St.
The menu, designed by Merkel and culinary director Chef Craig Myrand, features many of the signature dishes guests know and love from the original Howell establishment, like the signature steak salad, “world-famous” filet mignon tips, pan-seared sea scallops, the Diamond burger and homemade carrot cake, as well as a number of new dishes, like the wild flounder Meuniere, blackened ahi tuna and Wagyu beef carpaccio. The beer and cocktail program feature an expansive wine and cocktail list.
Diamond’s Steak & Seafood in Royal Oak will also feature a weekend brunch buffet every Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m.-2 p.m., featuring made-to-order omelets, eggs Benedict, carved ham, homemade waffles, artisan breads and bagels, beef stroganoff, sweet Cajun grilled chicken skewers, an array of desserts and a Bloody Mary bar.
