At the 2019 Maccabi Games, there is plenty of action over at Founders Sports Park, where the 14U and 16U boys soccer teams faced off for another round of matches today, Aug. 6.

14U Boys Soccer

Tuesday’s competition was a combined team of Detroit/Ohio/New Orleans/Denver, led by Coach Daniel Weberman, against Great Britain. While the hybrid team was off to a good start with two quick goals, they soon trailed behind Great Britain who took back the lead and ended with a strong victory.

Final score: 11-3

16U Boys Soccer Game

The 16U soccer game was another exciting match-up between Detroit/Team Carolina/Team Springfield/Philadelphia and Alberta/Austin/Boston/Ann Arbor. After being down 2-1, the Detroit mixed team scored 7 unanswered goals, ending the game on top!

Final score: 8-2
