The Diabetes Prevention Center, a division of the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan, will hold an information session at Jewish Family Services, 6555 W. Maple Road, West Bloomfield, MI 48322. Please call if you are unable to attend the information session so we know you are interested. The program is a CDC-certified, yearlong program designed for adults of any age with prediabetes or at high risk for developing type 2 diabetes. Workshops, led by trained lifestyle coaches, include 16 weekly one-hour group sessions followed by eight monthly sessions.
